Silas WAMANGITUKA

STUTTGART

-

Seven goals in his first 12 games in the Bundesliga have allowed the Congolese to pick up where he left off last campaign, where his goals helped Stuttgart win a place back in the German top flight.

One of them earned him a booking for “disrespect” after he walked the ball into the net versus Werder Bremen, earning him headlines for the wrong reason. Last season he had also been pegged as “flashy”, but the pacy striker – originally from Kinshasa via France’s fifth tier

– has found German football to his liking. Speed is his primary commodity but he is also maturing and improving quickly too. Has a bright future.
