Flurry of international switches
Several players have taken the chance to change or transfer their international teams in recent weeks. Having already lost two appeals to CAS, Munir El Haddadi was finally allowed to switch from Spain to Morocco, benefitting from changes to FIFA’s eligibility rules.
Elsewhere, Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala confirmed that he would represent Germany instead of England, and Dundalk defender Michael Duffy switched from Northern Ireland to Republic of Ireland. Michail Antonio (Jamaica & England) and Jeremie Frimpong (Netherlands & Ghana) are still up for grabs.
