Luis DEL SOL

(1935-2021)

Del Sol was part of the Real Madrid side that destroyed Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1960 European Cup final, starting in the 7-3 victory. He won back-to-back league titles in Madrid before leaving to become Juventus’ first-ever Spanish player. Del Sol also scored three goals in 16 appearances for Spain, and was part of their Euros-winning squad of 1964.
