George CURTIS
(1939-2021)
A Coventry City legend, having made 543 appearances for the club – a record for an outfield player. Curtis was part of two league-winning sides in the 1960s, but his finest moment came after retiring, when he managed the club to the 1987 FA Cup trophy in his only season as manager. In 2012 he became one of the club’s life presidents.
