Paul MARINER

(1953-2021)

Made his name at Plymouth Argyle before a decade in the First Division for Ipswich Town and later Arsenal, scoring over 100 goals. Mariner netted in Ipswich’s victorious UEFA Cup final in 1981, three years after winning the FA Cup, and also scored 13 goals in 35 games for England, playing at both Euro 1980 and the 1982 World Cup.
