COACH OF THE SEASON Scott HALES

(Miramar Rangers) Hales served as assistant to Jose Figueira for three years, but when Figueira moved to Auckland City in 2019, Hales stepped up too as Miramar Rangers head coach. He achieved the South Central series win just before his 40th birthday.

YOUNG PLAYER OF THE SEASON Oskar VAN HATTUM

(Wellington Phoenix Reserves) Born in 2002, Van Hattum was the main striker of New Zealand’s U17s. Following his four goals and top performanc­es during the South Central Series, he was called up by Wellington Phoenix’s main side in Australia’s A-League Men.
