ENGLAND: Chelsea meet Liverpool at Wembley in the FA Cup final in a repeat of February’s League Cup final. Elsewhere there’s more play-off action in both the Championship and League Two.
SCOTLAND: The Premiership season concludes, with Celtic at home to Motherwell.
GERMANY: The Bundesliga season concludes, with champions Bayern Munich visiting Wolfsburg, while Borussia Dortmund face strugglers Hertha Berlin.
PORTUGAL: The Portuguese league season also comes to an end, with Porto potentially celebrating a title victory at home to Estoril.

WOMEN: The Women’s FA Cup final takes place between Chelsea and Manchester City at Wembley.
NETHERLANDS: The Eredivisie league season concludes, with Feyenoord facing FC Twente, Ajax visiting Vitesse Arnhem and PSV at PEC Zwolle.

ISRAEL: The UEFA Under-17 Championship begins in Israel.

ASIA: The group stage of the 2022 AFC Cup commences.
Wednesday May 18
SPAIN: Seville’s Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium hosts the Europa League final, between either West Ham United or Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers or RB Leipzig.
Saturday May 21
WOMEN: The Champions League final takes place at the Juventus Stadium, with holders Barcelona facing French giants Lyon.
ENGLAND: The League One play-off final takes place at Wembley Stadium.
SCOTLAND: Rangers face Hearts in the Scottish FA Cup final.
GERMANY: There will be a first-time winner of the German Cup when Freiburg take on RB Leipzig in this season’s final.
FRANCE: On the final day of Ligue1, champions Paris Saint-Germain face strugglers Metz, while last season’s title winners Lille travel to Rennes.

ENGLAND: On the final day of the Premier League season, title chasers Manchester City and Liverpool host Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively, while strugglers Everton travel to Arsenal.
ITALY: Serie A also concludes with Internazionale facing Sampdoria, while Milan head to Sassuolo.
SPAIN: La Liga leaders Real Madrid host Copa del Rey winners Real Betis on the final day of the Spanish league season, while Barcelona face Villarreal and Real Sociedad take on Atletico Madrid.
PORTUGAL: Porto could complete a league-cup double when they face Tondela in the final of the Portuguese Cup at the Estadio Nacional, Lisbon.
VIETNAM: The final of the 2021 Southeast Asian Games takes place in Hanoi.

SOUTH AMERICA: The final matchday of the Copa Libertadores group stage begins. Holders Palmeiras host Venezuelan outfit Deportivo Tachira, and Velez Sarsfield take on rivals Estudiantes in an all-Argentinian clash. The Sudamericana group stage also concludes.
Wednesday May 25
ALBANIA: The first-ever Europa Conference League final takes place in the Kombetare Arena, Tirana. Leicester City or Roma will take on Feyenoord or Marseille.
Saturday May 28
FRANCE: The Champions League final takes place in Paris between Liverpool or Villarreal and Real Madrid or Manchester City.
ENGLAND: Wembley is in use once again, this time staging the League Two play-off final.
Sunday May 29
AFRICA: The CAF Champions League final takes place, featuring either holders Al Ahly or ES Setif from Algeria, against Angolans Petro de Luanda or Moroccans Wydad. Qualifying for AFCON 2023 also gets underway.
ENGLAND: Football’s “richest game” takes place with the Championship play-off final.
