Three Crows call
Three Crows Magazine is a quarterly science fiction and fantasy magazine that includes short stories, book, film, and video game reviews, as well as interviews with writers and editors of science fiction, fantasy and horror. Editor-in-chief Alex Khlopenko wants stories of dark and weird fantasy, horror, and sci-fi, with complex characters making morally ambiguous decisions. He says ‘We are looking for sci-fi as hard as Liu Cixin and Peter Watts and as wonderfully poetic as Arkady Martine; fantasy and magical realism in the vein of Andrzej Sapkowski, Naomi Novik, and Marlon James; we want horror and New Weird stories that would challenge our preconceived notions and perception of reality like Mark Z Danielewski, Thomas Ligotti, and China Mieville.’
Three Crows particularly seeks to publish ‘underrepresented voices’ with previously unpublished fantasy, sci-fi, weird, or horror stories from 1,000 to 5,000 words. Submissions can be in English/ Ukrainian/Polish/Russian/Romanian/German, as the international team working on the magazine will do the necessary translations.
What they don’t want to see are: stories lacking class consciousness; retellings of religious mythology ‘with a twist’; stories based around racial slurs or on TTRPG adventures; rape, abuse or revenge fantasies.
Simultaneous submissions are permitted, but notify right away if accepted somewhere else. Include a cover letter with your story title, word count, a 1-2 sentence summary of your story, a list of other professionally published works (if any), a very short bio.

You can also submit up to two nonfiction pieces, each up to 1,000 words long, of interest to readers of SF, fantasy or horror. Your submission(s) should be uploaded as a doc/docx/pdf file in standard manuscript format, or something close to it and easily readable.
