t he big picture: fade to silence
Fade To Silence quietly appears on the horizon – and we’re all geared up for it
We don’t know about you but we’re feeling rather chilly. Spring might have started to peek through but we’re still reaching for a second scarf, though can you blame us after taking a look at the frozen world of Fade To
Silence? It’s a survival game set after an apocalypse, where you’ll be doing everything in your power to stay warm. It’s currently in Early Access on Steam, but has also been announced for Xbox One for sometime later this year.
The changing weather will really push you to your limits, and while you can get wolves to pull your sled to help you get around, much of the wildlife is far more… mutated, and a lot less friendly. Luckily you can recruit followers to help you out, and make survival a little easier by going out hunting and looking after your makeshift settlement. But despite the unrelenting cold and horrors in the dark, the snow in Fade To Silence is hauntingly beautiful, even if you don’t survive very long to make the most of it.
You’ll be able to frolic in the flakes later this year.
