The games we want the most

XBox: The Official Magazine - - PREVIEW -

There’s always plenty to talk about in our Preview section, post-E3. We start off this month with the return of the Mudokons, absent so far from this generation of Xbox. Oddworld’s brand of platforming weirdness has always been up our street, so we’re intrigued to see what the series will look like on Xbox One, with Oddworld: Soulstorm (p26). This year’s E3 seemed to be all about Keanu, what with his appearance in our cover game Cyberpunk 2077, and here he is again with a new game based on his movie assassin John Wick. John Wick Hex puts you in control of Wick’s particular brand of super-slick action, and we tell you everything we know about it on page 28. Next up we have a new adventure for Goku and pals in Dragon Ball: Kakarot (p30). The intriguing horror/adventure title Moons Of Madness (p33) is one that’s sending chills up our spines at the moment, so to comfort us we got hands-on with the adorable looking time-bending Cris Tales (p34).

The Outer Worlds continues to look good the more we see of it, and we have the latest on that game on page 36. Monster Hunter World is one of our favourite RPGs, and we have news on its Iceborne expansion (p38), and finally Doom guy John Romero is behind a strategy game set in 1920s mobster Chicago, Empire Of Sin (p39).
