A drysuit that’s suitable for cruising

Not everyone like drysuits, but no one likes their oilskins leaking. The 100% waterproof Elite drysuit is a collaboration between three wellknown companies – Ocean Safety, Typhoon and Andark – and comes with a three-year watertight warranty.

Unlike most drysuits, the Elite is designed to be worn for extended periods, which makes it more suitable for sailors.

The breathable fabrics used were tested in the Volvo Ocean and Sydney Hobart races, and in Arctic kayaking expeditions. Features include a detachable fleece collar and ‘3D hood’ with spray protector, fully articulated arms, legs and body, reflective tape for visibility, cargo and hand warmer pockets, and Cordura reinforcement on the bottom and knees. There’s also an integrated oral tube, to increase buoyancy in the water and add insulation between your body and the water.
