Pocket-size thermal imaging camera

- Price Contact Tel Web

If you sail or use your tender after dark, it’s reassuring to have a way of boosting your vision. Unlike infra-red night sights, thermal imagers can be used in daylight as well as in darkness to pick out objects invisible to the naked eye. So if a man overboard is in the water between you and the sun (or its reflection), it would be possible to see them.

With a range of 119m, this monocular thermal camera could also help you pick out unlit marks, pinpoint the source of leaks and avoid other small craft. Ocean Scout TK can take up to 1,000 thermal snapshots and record video, too.

It’s submersible, fits in a pocket, can be operated with one hand, and the rechargeable battery is said to last five hours.
