The owners
Slipstream is owned by Paul and Mary Stone. Paul is a retired naval officer who commanded several ships during his Royal Navy career.
For most of this time he was a dinghy sailor, moving to yachts on approaching retirement. He started with a Hunter 272 and then bought Slipstream new in 2006. Paul, a Yachtmaster Offshore, finds the Sadler 290 ideal for pottering around the south coast with regular trips to France, the Channel Islands and the West Country, often singlehanded.
