No-lift scubbing solution

A month or two in the water and already the marine nasties are tainting waterlines. Rather than get her lifted out, the Scrubbis can be used from the pontoon. While the idea isn’t new, Scrubbis appears to offer excellent value; costing less than one liftout in many harbours.

It’s a telescopic pole, suitable for yachts with up to 2.0m draught, with several scrubbing heads. The original Scrubbis Foam cleaning head (£99 kit) is made from buoyant foam and has foam blades to clean your hull. The Groovy head (shown above) has 2kg of positive buoyancy to scrub more stubbon areas. The Water Line head has with a soft bristle on one side and rubber blades on the other. When used with Scrubbis Water Line cleaner spray, it's claimed to leave your waterline spotless.
