The owner

Until five years ago engineer Rob Bolan, 47, was a motorboat owner. He ‘got fed up paying VAT on diesel’ and started sailing on an uncle’s yacht on Lake Windemere. He met his partner, Lizzy Adams, through sailing. She's now cruising captain of Fareham Sailing Club. Their first saling yacht was a Gib’Sea 9.2 and they bought Zircon a year ago.
