Most yachts have at least two sets of batteries but the alternator usually only charges one battery bank, or both when they’re connected. Mastervolt’s new Charge Mate Pro 90 can split the charge, always giving one bank priority but still charging the secondary bank. Handy if your windlass or bow thruster batteries are forward and require your house battery to be fully charged before they see any of it.
