B&G WS320 WIRELESS WIND SENSOR
If you’ve been putting off the replacement of your aging wind instruments because of the hassle of spending hours up a mast or unstepping your rig, B&G’S new WS320 wireless wind instruments could be your saviour. The solar-powered instrument head is simply attached by four screws to the masthead, where it will transmit wind speed and direction data via Bluetooth at 5Hz – the same as its new wired sensor the WS310 – to the receiving unit on deck. The receiver can then be deck or pole mounted and wired into an existing N2K network. It also features a smart power-management system. www. bandg.com
