DECATHLON TRIBORD 500 SAILING GLOVES
These cheap and cheerful gloves offered little protection, with no real padding on the palm or knuckles. They performed well when it came to grip, outperforming some established sailing brands, though the rubberised material felt thin. The fit was slightly loose, except for the snug neoprene cuff. Being fingerless, they were the best-performing gloves in the dexterity test, making short work of the more intricate tasks such as tying a bowline and opening and closing a D shackle. Ultimately, the gloves were let down by the lack of padding, although many might be willing to forgo this considering their grip and the cost.
