If you’re join­ing the Caribbean ex­o­dus this win­ter, look out for the Pe­lagic Sar­gas­sum, a mat­ted weed that has bloomed in vast amounts in the past few years. Ac­cord­ing to cruis­ing fo­rum Noon­site.com, the seaweed is now im­pact­ing miles of shore­line across most Caribbean Is­lands, as well as be­ing ever-present in the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mex­ico and At­lantic.
