CONNECTING YOUNG PEOPLE WITH THE OCEAN

A new project has been launched which aims to give more than 350 disadvantaged children in Plymouth the chance to sail traditional wooden boats and ships. Spirit of Adventure will be part of the Devon port’s Mayflower Ocean Festival in early May which celebrates the 400th anniversary of the crossing of the Mayflower from Plymouth to the USA.
