GARCIA EXPLOCATS 52
Garcia’s two Exploration monohulls are very popular, and the Garcia Explocat 52 transfers the same aesthetic into two hulls.
Explocat’s designers have aimed to control the boat’s weight distribution and clearance above the waves to handle challenging seas, while packing enough sail power to deal with all conditions.
Being aluminium means this boat can cope with being beached, and also has more rigidity than a fibreglass boat. It’s claimed the boat can be sailed single handed without needing to leave the aft cockpit. The wheel is mounted on a ‘pendulum’, pivoting between two helm stations, one elevated and a more sheltered one in the cockpit, where instruments are repeated.
There are options for 6-10 berths in the two hulls.
