The beauty of isolation. Finnish sailor Juho Karhu, 33, stands adrift at Isfjorden, Svalbard, during one of two Arctic winters spent living aboard his 1986-built Beneteau Idylle 11.50. “We found these perfectly symmetrical bits of sea ice breaking away – the fjord was still partially frozen. I had my drysuit on... it was good fun jumping between the different ice floes as they slowly drifted.” A feature on Juho’s amazing adventures is coming up soon.
