British marine industry grows

The UK marine industry has grown by 4% to £1.5bn despite Brexit uncertainties. According to British Marine, industry employment has grown 7% since 2017/18, with total sector jobs of 38,700. New and used boat sales now account for 78% of the industry’s exports, while exports to Europe account for 74% of the total and stand at more than £1bn.
