Super sloop

Spot the windsurfer! Malcolm Mckeon and Royal Huisman have partnered to propose a sensational super sloop, dubbed Apex 850. At 85m/279ft long and with a 107m/351ft mast, this would, if commissioned, be the largest sloop ever built. The design, naval architecture and engineering has all been done for Mckeon’s minimalist design which includes a continuous clear glass superstructure and a 250m2/2,690ft2 owner’s apartment, complete with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a private beach club.
