Fliteboard Series 2; Lift Foils Lift3

The foiling surfboard looks here to stay.

The bestselling electric hydrofoil board from Australia, the Fliteboard (above), has been updated to improve performance. Fliteboard’s tweaks include better stability for beginner riders, and advanced carving and manoeuvrability. Three new versions of the product have been created: Air for newbies; Ultra is super-light; and Pro is more responsive. All have a Bluetooth controller, lithium battery and dedicated app.

Lift Foils has also redesigned its board. The Lift3 (above right) is now silent, thanks to some nifty acoustic engineering and a gearless direct drive motor. The board’s new shape and reengineered underwater nozzle make it easier for beginners to get up on the foil and stay there to enjoy speeds up to 30mph.
