I was a milk lad. At the age of 12 I was told by my father that I would be helping deliver milk as he was a self-employed milkman. Although at the time I can’t say I was overly happy to do so, I can now see that it gave me an excellent work ethic.
If you weren’t in your current position what would you be doing?
I would like to write and produce music for TV and film.
What was your worst mistake?
I wish I had learned to play the piano at a younger age.
What is your ideal day away from the office?
I like to spend the day in my little recording studio that I have built up over time at home.
Name one person you would most like to have dinner with and why?
Film composer Hans Zimmer. I would love to discover his process of writing and scoring all the amazing movie soundtracks he has done.
What was your best subject at school?
I really enjoyed PE.
What are your hobbies?
I love to write and produce music.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would like to think I could ensure my family and close friends could be financially secure.
What’s your favourite item of clothing?
A scarf I inherited from my late grandad.
What is your favourite time of day?
I like to go out running at dusk. I love to watch the sun setting.
What would you like your epitaph to be?
I just hope people remember me as someone who tried his best at whatever I did and that I was always ready to help if I could.
