Chamber dinner celebrates success
Diary was very sorry to miss this year’s Bradford Chamber of Commerce dinner, especially after the city had enjoyed a very positive 2018.
This year saw Bradford establish a Business Improvement District, announce a 4,000-seat concert venue, set out an ambitious economic growth strategy and hold the city’s first ever Manufacturing Week, bringing schools and employers together.
Chamber president Nick Garthwaite, in his speech, said that Bradford’s growth potential is now being recognised.
Broadcaster and former Tory MP Gyles Brandreth, above left, was the guest speaker at the dinner.
