When asked what changes dis­abled would like to see on the high street, the fol­low­ing was said:

Thirty per cent wanted to see wider aisles

Thirty one per cent wanted to have no mu­sic or at least qui­eter mu­sic

Twenty eight per cent asked for quite ar­eas/zones to pro­vide space from crowds

Twenty three per cent said they wanted to see shop work­ers em­ploy more col­leagues who are trained to deal with shop­pers with ac­ces­si­bil­ity needs

Twelve per cent asked for spe­cial­ist tills that bet­ter met their needs
