SITE HAS SUPPORTED GROWTH
Reed Boardall, the frozen food storage and distribution firm, recently celebrated 25 years since it opened its first cold store at its Boroughbridge base.
The family business, which is still headed by founder and chief executive Keith Boardall who is supported by his son, deputy chief executive Marcus, had previously been based at Northallerton, but opened the doors of a 3,000 pallet capacity store in Boroughbridge in 1992.
The new site supported the company’s rapid growth, and Reed Boardall has become one of the best-known names in food logistics. It has also become a major employer in North Yorkshire.
