New name for PR firm Ac­celeris

Leeds Build­ing So­ci­ety Foun­da­tion do­nated PR agency Ac­celeris has un­veiled a new name and re­brand fol­low­ing its merger with Lon­don­based firm Lime­light.

The Har­ro­gate-based firm, which has a turnover of £2.6m, will now be known as Def­i­ni­tion. Its man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Louise Vaughan, above, said: “Mov­ing to a sin­gle brand was an in­te­gral part of our strate­gic plan and we are de­lighted to un­veil it as we be­gin 2019, our first full year as an in­te­grated agency. We be­lieve it presents a sin­gle, strong and dis­tinc­tive brand to the mar­ket with shared val­ues, com­mon ob­jec­tives and a port­fo­lio of ser­vices that will drive new growth op­por­tu­ni­ties.”

The 30-strong team of cor­po­rate com­mu­ni­ca­tion and per­sonal brand spe­cial­ists has of­fices in Har­ro­gate, Lon­don and Dubai.

Fol­low­ing its merger with Lime­light last year, the firm says it ex­pe­ri­enced strong growth.
