A lawyer and two man­ag­ing direc­tors have been elected to join the Don­caster Cham­ber Board of Direc­tors. Cham­ber pres­i­dent Michael Wilkin­son (Frog Ed­u­ca­tion) an­nounced the elec­tion re­sults at the AGM and wel­comed onto the board, Tra­cie Dud­ley Shaw (Pris­tine Com­mer­cial Clean­ing), Nick Fletcher (Ana­logue Electrics Ltd) and Sarah Nay­lor (Ather­ton God­frey). They join a team of other busi­ness lead­ers to en­sure the Cham­ber achieves its ob­jec­tives.


The au­dit, tax and con­sult­ing firm RSM has ap­pointed Gwyneth Bar­ber as a new cor­po­rate tax part­ner in the Hull of­fice. She is a prom­i­nent cor­po­rate tax ad­viser with more than 20 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence act­ing for re­gional, na­tional and in­ter­na­tional busi­nesses on a range of cor­po­rate tax plan­ning. Andy Capes, of­fice man­ag­ing part­ner at RSM in Hull, said: “It’s great to have Gwyneth on board. The ap­point­ment reaf­firms our com­mit­ment to in­vest­ing in tal­ent and the lo­cal mar­ket.”


Man­u­fac­turer of fire­fight­ing ap­pli­ances Rosen­bauer UK re­struc­tured its se­nior lead­er­ship team, as the com­pany pre­pares to con­sol­i­date its growth over the next five years. Nick Uwins takes the reins as man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, fol­low­ing a pro­mo­tion from his for­mer role of sales and en­gi­neer­ing di­rec­tor. Mr Uwins, who has over 28 years of fire in­dus­try ex­pe­ri­ence, re­places founder Oliver North, who has led the busi­ness since its for­ma­tion in 2008. Mr North will now ful­fil an of­fi­cial ad­vi­sory role for Rosen­bauer in con­junc­tion with pur­su­ing new chal­lenges out­side of the fire sec­tor.


The busi­ness-to­busi­ness divi­sion of cof­fee and tea spe­cial­ist Ring­tons has ap­pointed Robyn Walsh as its new busi­ness de­vel­op­ment man­ager. Ring­tons Bev­er­ages for Busi­ness is the whole­sale divi­sion of the New­castle­based busi­ness. Ms Walsh will be based in Leeds and joins the 110-year-old fam­ily busi­ness from an in­de­pen­dent cof­fee com­pany. In her new role, she will sup­port ex­ist­ing Ring­tons clients and look to at­tract new cus­tomers for the com­pany.


South York­shire PR agency, HR Me­dia (HRM), has ex­panded fol­low­ing the re­cruit­ment of a graphic de­sign spe­cial­ist. HRM, based on Sid­ney Street in Sh­effield’s cul­tural in­dus­tries quar­ter, has re­cruited Si­mon Gar­lick, 38, who joins from Ch­ester­field-based All­dread Burgess Ad­ver­tis­ing. Martin Ross, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of HRM, said: “Si­mon joins us at an ex­cit­ing time in our 21-year his­tory fol­low­ing our re­cent move to new premises in the cul­tural in­dus­tries quar­ter of Sh­effield.”
