The Yorkshire will know that is no fan of Post Diary jargon in any shape or form.

That is why we were saddened to hear that Leeds was named in the top ten of David Brent-esque hot spots for management speak.

AdView sought out the most offending ‘Jargon Job’ cities and which buzzwords plague our jobsearching the most.

Leeds came in fifth behind the City of London, Woking, Reading and Belfast. ‘Proactive’, ‘dynamic’ and ‘self-starter’ are examples of jargon that dominate job adverts.

We did, however, note with amusement that Brent’s hometown of Slough placed eighth in the list of shame, a clear sign of life imitating art.
