Staffline’s prison ed­u­ca­tion deals

Re­cruit­ment and train­ing firm Staffline has se­cured prison ed­u­ca­tion con­tracts in the UK worth £104.6m. Staffline said the con­tracts will give the com­pany about a 25 per cent mar­ket share in prison ed­u­ca­tion, ex­ceed­ing its tar­get of 20 per cent – which was in­creased from 10 per cent dur­ing the year.

The com­pany’s Peo­plePlus divi­sion now op­er­ates in 22 pris­ons in the UK. The divi­sion pro­vides train­ing cour­ses for ap­pren­tice­ships and gov­ern­ment­funded adult skills pro­grammes.
