De­mand sees Thrive add to staff

LEEDS-based Thrive Law, the spe­cial­ist em­ploy­ment law firm, has hired a new re­cruit in re­sponse to grow­ing de­mand for its ser­vices.

Thrive Law has wel­comed em­ploy­ment law para­le­gal, So­nia Kullar, who is from Hud­der­s­field. She is a law and crim­i­nol­ogy un­der­grad­u­ate from the Univer­sity of Le­ices­ter.

Ms Kullar first joined Thrive Law as an in­tern in Au­gust 2018. She had pre­vi­ously worked as a solic­i­tors’ rep­re­sen­ta­tive for her univer­sity’s Law So­ci­ety Com­mit­tee. She has also col­lab­o­rated with the Bri­tish

Red Cross as an im­mi­gra­tion and asy­lum le­gal in­tern and case an­a­lyst.

Ms Kullar said: “My ex­pe­ri­ence as a le­gal in­tern and a case an­a­lyst has fu­elled my pas­sion to prac­tise law.

“It is re­ward­ing when you help clients achieve jus­tice.

“How­ever, I was drawn to Thrive Law be­cause of its pub­lic com­mit­ment to pro­mote men­tal health aware­ness and well­be­ing in the work­place.”

She added: “I could not be prouder to pro­mote a na­tion­ally recog­nised cam­paign to make men­tal health first aiders manda­tory in the work­place.”
