AN award-win­ning opera pro­ducer is to bring the stun­ning ar­chi­tec­ture of Seville to the stage. Ellen Kent re­turns with a pro­duc­tion of Bizet’s Car­men, fea­tur­ing Caspian, a white An­dalu­cian stal­lion, and a res­cue don­key. Af­ter crit­i­cally ac­claimed tours of Madama But­ter­fly, Travi­ata and Rigo­letto, Kent brings the heat and pas­sion of Spain in this pro­duc­tion of Car­men that tells the story of a gypsy girl who se­duces a soldier into de­sert­ing the army, lead­ing to her own mur­der.
