A live theatre screen­ing of The Im­por­tance of Be­ing Ernest star­ring David Suchet as Lady Brack­nell will be com­ing to cine­mas in York­shire this month.

A gen­teel satire on Vic­to­rian man­ners and con­ven­tions, Os­car Wilde’s play cen­tres on the lives of two bach­e­lors Al­ger­non Mon­crieff (Philip Cum­bus) and John Wor­thing (Down­town Abbey’s Michael Benz).
