It is: All-ter­rain sev­enseater with econ­omy im­prove­ments on the 3.2 litre four cylin­der diesel. On the LWB au­to­matic model the av­er­age im­proves from 26.7mpg to 33.2mpg and CO2 drops dra­mat­i­cally, from 280g/km to 224g/km. How­ever, horse power and torque are in­creased by 18 per cent and the braked tow­ing weight rises 200kg to 3,500kg. There are sim­i­lar im­prove­ments for the three­door ver­sion.

Chas­sis: Mono­coque with front wish­bones and rear multi-link, and se­lectable 2WD and 4WD trac­tion.

Di­men­sions: It is 193 inches long, 74 inches wide and 74.4 inches high. (Three-door ver­sion is 172.6 inches long).

Power: Diesel only these days for the UK mar­ket, and the re­vised big four­cylin­der delivers 197bhp and 325lb-ft.

Ser­vic­ing: Ev­ery 12 months or 12,500 miles, with the op­tion of a ser­vice plan.
