A little bit more from Vauxhall
VAUXHALL is offering its Insignia VXR models with the top-speed restrictor removed. It allows the car to reach 170mph – something of more interest on Germany’s flat-out motorway sections than 70mph Britain. Prototypes had extensive testing at the Nurbürgring’s Nordschleife, where 10,000 validation kilometres at “factor 18” correspond to 180,000km (112,000 miles) on normal roads. The Unlimited option costs £250 and is available with all body styles.
