Land Rover dealer proves to be bet­ter than one in a hun­dred

GUY Salmon Land Rover in Wake­field has beaten stiff competition from more than 100 ap­proved Land Rover deal­er­ships across the UK to be awarded the cov­eted ti­tle Dealer of the Year by the ve­hi­cle man­u­fac­turer.

The Barns­ley Road deal­er­ship was recog­nised by the man­u­fac­turer for its ded­i­ca­tion to cus­tomer ser­vice and the pro­fes­sion­al­ism of its staff fol­low­ing strong per­for­mances across a num­ber of busi­ness ar­eas – which in­cluded a mys­tery shop ex­er­cise.

Pre­sent­ing the deal­er­ship with its award, Land Rover UK man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Colin Green said: “Our UK deal­er­ship net­work are a cru­cial point at which cus­tomers form opin­ions of our brand and our prod­ucts, so ev­ery year we chal­lenge deal­ers to de­liver the best pos­si­ble value and ser­vice.

“Over the past 12 months Guy Salmon Wake­field has been an ex­em­plary deal­er­ship – meet­ing the con­sis­tently high stan­dards we strive for – and I would like to con­grat­u­late the team re­spon­si­ble and thank them on be­half of the en­tire Land Rover busi­ness.”

On re­ceiv­ing the award, Guy Salmon dealer prin­ci­pal Paul Wil­liams said: “Cus­tomers are the heart of our busi­ness and we have worked in­cred­i­bly hard over the past year to ex­ceed their ex­pec­ta­tions.

“This award is tes­ta­ment to our team’s ded­i­ca­tion and re­flects not only their ex­per­tise but also the out­stand­ing prod­ucts that en­able us to de­liver such high lev­els of sat­is­fac­tion.”

With a newly re­fur­bished show­room and the forth­com­ing ar­rival of the new Range Rover Evoque in Septem­ber, the next 12 months prom­ises to be an ex­cit­ing pe­riod at Guy Salmon Wake­field.
