Healey pro­to­type un­der ham­mer

A 1965 Healey Le Mans pro­to­type which was raced by Paddy Hop­kirk and An­drew Hedges at Le Mans 1966 is to be sold by COYS at their As­cot Auc­tion on April 27 at an ex­pected price of be­tween £180,000 and £220,000.

Built by Don­ald Healey in 1965 and reg­is­tered in 1966, the car also raced at Sebring that year driven by Paul Hawkins and Timo Maki­nen in day-glo or­ange, the same colour it is to­day.
