Maximum MINI with added hybrid power and wow factor
WELCOME TO the biggest MINI ever. This is the Countryman and is bigger than any MINI in the brand’s 57-year history.
More than that, it’s also the first MINI to come in plugin hybrid form and is also better equipped than previous versions with features such as electronic tailgate closing.
And all models come with hispec features such as satellite navigation, touchscreen function, Bluetooth connectivity and an emergency call system.
It also has some ‘wow’ features such as MINI Picnic Bench,a foldout loading sill cushion on the luggage compartment lid for outdoor use.
The Countryman is available to order now and costs from £22,465 with first deliveries in

“With its larger external dimensions, and increases in space throughout the cabin and luggage area, it offers occupants even greater comfort and a genuinely premium ambience.”
Countryman’s on-road and off-road ability is apparent throughout its design, which combines familiar MINI styling with the tough look of a crossover with extended ground clearance, large wheel arches and short overhangs.
For the first time MINI is offering a plug-in hybrid model with the new MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4.
This new hybrid features a turbocharged petrol engine and an electric motor, reducing fuel consumption to 134.5mpg yet also enabling a 0-62 mph time of 6.9 seconds.
The rest of the line-up is powered by an all-new range of engines from the latest
MINI TwinPower Turbo generation.
With between 136bhp and 192bhp, Countryman can sprint from 0-62 mph in as little as 7.2 seconds, while fuel consumption reaches 64.2mpg and C02 emissions drop as low as 113g/km.
It is available with both manual and Steptronic gearboxes and with front- and all-wheel drive.
