Properties prove popular at auction
EDDISONS sold 83 of the 105 lots at its three-day sale in Leeds, Manchester and London, generating proceeds of £8,352,511.
Highlights included Grove Villas, a former day care centre on Cardigan Road in Headingley, Leeds, which sold for £545,000 after being listed with a guide price of £500,000 plus.
The former Pennington Place hostel in the Woodhouse area of the city fetched £335,000.
Elsewhere, a property in Hull, which comprises seven tenanted flats generating income of £31,800, achieved £245,000. A development site in Brotherton, near Knottingley, which has full planning consent for ten homes, also proved popular, selling for £150,000.
