Optimism growing among landlords
OPTIMISM continues to grow in the landlord community, according to research by specialist buy-to-let lender Paragon Mortgages.
More than a third (39 per cent) of landlords who took part in the lender’s latest private Rented Trends survey said they were feeling more optimistic about the prospects for their portfolios. This is an increase on the first and second quarters of the year.
Just four per cent of those questioned by Paragon said they were feeling pessimistic about the prospects for their property investments.
The company’s director of mortgages, John Heron, said: “This is the highest level of optimism we have seen in the last three years.”
