New life for town’s Arla dairy site
MULBERRY VALE: Developers are breathing new life into the former Arla Foods creamery on Romanby Road in Northallerton by transforming it into 23 detached homes and townhouses now known as Mulberry Vale. The site stood empty since it was closed three years ago when production switched to more modern facilities in Leeds. Wetherbybased developers Berkeley DeVeer has sold half the plots and prices range from £199,950 to £245,000. The development is a short stroll from the high street and Northallerton railway station, which sits on the East Coast main line to London, www. berkeleydeveer.co.uk
