Rivelin Valley area proves best-seller

SHEFFIELD: The Rivelin Valley is a property favourite with buyers looking to invest in Sheffield’s Hillsborou­gh area, say property agents Martin & Co. Semi-detached and terraced properties in the streets around Rivelin Valley Road have seen some of the greatest increases in value for the S6 postcode, with an overall rise of 27 per cent in the past five years.

Anita Nel, manager of Martin and Co. Hillsborou­gh, says that terraced properties are now worth an average £128,219 in Hillsborou­gh, compared to £110,929 across the rest of South Yorkshire, while semis are worth £163,271 compared to £143,736 across the wider area.
