Yorkshire’s poshest villages revealed
County: Research by Savills has revealed the most upmarket villages in Yorkshire.
The villages were judged on high house prices, connectivity, lifestyle amenities, and chocolate-box appeal.
In North Yorkshire, Kirkby Overblow, average house price £698,656, was named as the poshest village. Sutton upon Derwent was crowned the East Riding’s most upmarket village (average house price £409,071).
Cawthorne took the crown for South Yorkshire – it has an average house price of £512,288.
Scarcroft, average price £630,325, is the poshest village in West Yorkshire.
