Design sale for interiors lovers

Leyburn: Those keen to furnish their home with investment pieces should take a look at the upcoming 20th Century Design sale at Tennants Auctioneers, in Leyburn, on February 26.

It includes pieces by some of the leading artists, designers and makers of the era. Items under the hammer include a Martin Brothers’ Wally Bird jar, a book illustrated by Eric Ravilious, four AngloJapanese ebonised Beech chairs, pictured, by Edward William Godwin and furniture by the Mouseman.
