Architect wins work at Raby Hall

Contract: Richmond-based landscape architect Alistair Baldwin has won the contract to design the external communal spaces for Raby Castle’s new visitor attraction The Rising – a scheme to the north of the castle wall, which will provide sociable spaces where visitors can shop, dine and meet at the 700-year-old landmark in County Durham.

Lady Barnard says “This is an incredibly important piece of the development work for Raby. This is not only my family’s legacy, but a legacy for the local community as well.”
