Middlesbrough has lowest growth
League: Rightmove has revealed the areas across Great Britain where homeowners have seen the value of their property increase the most and least over the past ten years, with a clear North-South split emerging.
The hottest spot is Margate where asking prices have more than doubled on average since 2012 (102 per cent) and are now over £100,000 higher, standing at an average of £294,209. Second is Horfield in Bristol, where prices are up 96 per cent to £385,003.
At the bottom of the table is Middlesbrough, where homes are just six per cent more expensive than ten years ago, at £132,792.
