Old colliery site sold for homes

Land: Templegate Developments, the joint venture partnership of Evans Property Group and Keyland Developments, has agreed terms of sale with Avant Homes and Evans Homes for land at the 170acre Skelton Gate site in the Leeds Aire Valley.

Both are buying half of phase one of the development which is 27 acres to hold 400 homes. The former open cast colliery site has planning permission for 1,800 homes, schools, a local centre and a convenience store.
